If you are using your microwave to purely heat up leftovers, then you are not using its full potential! Here some things you can do with your microwave that may surprise you. Things inside of the microwave may be hot, be careful!
- Sandwiches
To avoid your sandwich getting soggy, simply wrap a paper towel around it. This will absorb the moisture instead of the bread. Microwave for 30-60 seconds and your sandwich will be good as new.
- Bacon
Everyone loves crispy bacon, but some don’t have the time to cook it. First, place the bacon evenly between 2 paper towels, then microwave for 3 minutes. The paper towel it’s on will soak up grease.
- Onion
Cut the ends off of the onion, then microwave it for 25-30 seconds, and when you chop the onions, you will no longer cry.
- Stamps
Put some water on a stamp, microwave the envelope for 20 seconds and the stamp will come off with ease.
- Fruit
Microwave fruit for 25-30 seconds, let it cool and then the skin will come right off when you peel it.
