On February 20, 2018, Whirlpool has recalled KitchenAid electric kettles due to burn risks. According to Consumer Product Safety Commission, Whirlpool has received 98 reports in the U.S and Canada combined of separating handles. These can potentially burn you if the handle separates from the kettle which will cause hot contents to spill.
Everyone loves when they walk into a home or office and there’s a pleasant aroma in the air. There’s nothing worse than having a bad smell in the air. Luckily, there are products in the market to fix this. Plug-in air fresheners took the market by storm. All you have to do is plug them in and they do the rest of the work. As of February 23, 2017 Carrier has expanded the recall on Carrier, Bryant, and Fast brand PTAC and PTHP units due to a faulty power cord posing a fire hazard risk. The recall includes approximately 94,000 units in addition to the original 185,000 recalled in November of 2007 and 285,000 added in December of 2015.Continue reading
