Carrier Expands Recall on PTAC & PTHP Units

As of February 23, 2017 Carrier has expanded the recall on Carrier, Bryant, and Fast brand PTAC and PTHP units due to a faulty power cord posing a fire hazard risk. The recall includes approximately 94,000 units in addition to the original 185,000 recalled in November of 2007 and 285,000 added in December of 2015. Continue reading

Recall Information: GE Recalls Select Top-Loading Washers Due to Fire Hazard

At 1st Source Servall, we want to make sure that our readers and customers are aware of the latest appliance recalls to ensure your safety.

As of September 15th, General Electric has issued a recall on certain Top-Loading Washers.  A component of the washer may potentially overheat, creating a fire hazard.  The recall includes 3 different GE Profile high-efficiency models sold in the colors gold, grey, and white between June of 2003 and October of 2011.
