Recall Information: GE Recalls Select Top-Loading Washers Due to Fire Hazard

At 1st Source Servall, we want to make sure that our readers and customers are aware of the latest appliance recalls to ensure your safety.

As of September 15th, General Electric has issued a recall on certain Top-Loading Washers.  A component of the washer may potentially overheat, creating a fire hazard.  The recall includes 3 different GE Profile high-efficiency models sold in the colors gold, grey, and white between June of 2003 and October of 2011. Important Recall Information: Goodman Air Conditioning & Heating Units

On February 17, 2016 Goodman issued a safety recall (recall number 16-102) for select Amana, Century, Comfort-Aire, Goodman, and York Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps (PTAC), and Amana  Room Air Conditioners (RAC).  In addition to the original 233,500 units recalled in August of 2014, an additional 5,300 units are now being recalled. Carrier Air Conditioner & Heat Pump Recall Information

We care about your safety, which is why we try to keep you up-to-date with the latest appliance recall information.

Carrier issued a recall today (December 22, 2015) in order to repair certain Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC Units) and Heat Pumps (PTHP) models due to risk of fire hazard.  The recall includes units with original power cords, as well as those with previously replaced power cords from a prior recall in 2007.
