Over 40,000 KitchenAid Electric Kettles Recalled

On February 20, 2018, Whirlpool has recalled KitchenAid electric kettles due to burn risks. According to Consumer Product Safety Commission, Whirlpool has received 98 reports in the U.S and Canada combined of separating handles. These can potentially burn you if the handle separates from the kettle which will cause hot contents to spill.

Carrier Expands Recall on PTAC & PTHP Units

As of February 23, 2017 Carrier has expanded the recall on Carrier, Bryant, and Fast brand PTAC and PTHP units due to a faulty power cord posing a fire hazard risk.
